Runner bean Preisgewinner is red flowering, has very long, fleshy pods, is vigorous and productive. The beans are purple speckled with black. A favourite back garden variety. Can be eaten as green beans, half-ripe as shelled beans or dried as kidney beans. Recommended for outdoor cultivation.
